A major accident occurred in the US state of Texas on Monday afternoon. A Mexican Navy plane crashes into the waters of Galveston Bay. Five people have died in this accident, including a two-year-old child. The US Coast Guards has confirmed this.
Officials said there were a total of eight people on board the plane. Of these, four people were rescued alive, while one person is still missing, whose search is going on.

Galveston County Sheriff said that as soon as information about the accident was received, police, divers, drone team and other emergency services were sent to the spot. Rescue operation was started immediately after this.
The Mexican Navy also confirmed the accident and said it was working with US agencies. The Mexican Embassy in Houston has also been contacted.
This accident is now being investigated by American agencies like FAA and NTSB to find out how and why the plane fell.
At present the real reason for the accident has not been clear. The rescue team is busy searching for the missing person and the administration is keeping an eye on the situation.
