Sunil Shetty has defended Ranveer Singh in the Don 3 controversy. He was banned by FWICE (Film Federation of Western Cine Employees) after complaining about leaving the film. This means that no person associated with the federation could work with him until the dispute ends. On this, Sunil Shetty says that no one has the right to ban any actor. He says that Ranveer has contributed a lot to the revenue of the film industry. No one can ban them just like that. Recently, in an interview given to Times Now, Sunil Shetty said on the Don 3 controversy, ‘No one can ban any actor. No one can ban art. No one has this right. The Supreme Court will dismiss this case in a second. See, the problem is that both (Farhan and Ranveer) are sensible. Farhan is also a very sensitive actor, producer and director. And Ranveer too. He has seen good times. I think if both sit together, the matter will be resolved. I will not interfere in this – Sunil Shetty When he was asked whether he could solve this matter, he replied, ‘No, I will not interfere in this matter, because many people have already spoken. But knowing Farhan and Ranveer, I would like to say that if both of them sit together then they can do magic. Ranveer is at his peak and Don is a project that would be great to be a part of. This franchise started with Amitabh Bachchan, then Shahrukh joined, what could be better than this. He further said, ‘If someone is saying that I will ban this, I will ban that, you cannot ban someone just like that. Who are you to ban anyone? Try to understand that this child has given you crores of revenue. Why do you want to ban it? If you ban the thing being sold, what are you asking for? Bans are just talk.
