Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of PM on 5 August amid violence in Bangladesh.
After the resignation of Sheikh Hasina, an interim government will be formed in Bangladesh today. This 15-member government will be led by Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus. The swearing-in ceremony of the government will take place at 8:30 pm.
Yunus will arrive in Bangladesh from Paris at 2:40 pm today. According to the Dhaka Tribune, about 400 people will attend the swearing-in ceremony. Bangladesh Army Chief Waqar-uz-Rahman shared information related to the swearing-in on Wednesday.
On the other hand, on Wednesday (7 August), BSF jawans stopped about 500 Bangladeshis who were infiltrating near the India-Bangladesh border near Jalpaiguri. According to the North Bengal Frontier, these people had gathered in Bangladesh due to fear of attacks by protesters.
BSF and Border Guard Bangladesh talked to these people, after which all of them returned. BSF is on high alert on the international border with Bangladesh.

209 prisoners escaped from Central Jail
Meanwhile, 209 prisoners have escaped from Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur, Bangladesh. According to Dhaka Tribune, they had taken the security personnel hostage. Meanwhile, 6 people died in the encounter. These include 3 terrorists. The incident took place on Tuesday (6 August) and information about it has come to light now.
Earlier, The Hindu has claimed in its report that after not getting asylum in London, Sheikh Hasina may go to UAE, Saudi Arabia or Finland. Actually, earlier there were speculations about her going to London. Meanwhile, the British government has indicated that legal action may be taken against her on reaching Britain due to the protests in Bangladesh.
After this, she was shifted to a safe house in India. Hasina’s son Wazed Joy had said that she has not sought refuge from any other country. Hasina will stay in India for now. Amidst the violence, about 29 leaders associated with Hasina’s party Awami League and its allies were killed in Bangladesh.
190 employees of the Indian Embassy returned
190 employees of the Indian Embassy have been evacuated from Bangladesh due to security reasons. After the fall of Hasina’s government, resignations of 6 top officials of the Reserve Bank of Bangladesh were also taken. The Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank claimed that his resignation was taken by forcing him to sign on a blank paper.
Apart from this, the chief of Rapid Action Battalion, one of the biggest security agencies of the country, was also changed. The violent protests in Bangladesh have caused a loss of 75 thousand crore taka (54 thousand crore rupees) in the last 15 days. In this, the textile industry has suffered the most loss of 20 thousand crore taka (14.3 thousand crore rupees).

Hasina came to India in a military plane amid violence
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived at Hindon Air Base on the evening of August 5 in a C-130 transport aircraft. This aircraft was parked near the Indian Air Force’s C-17 and C-130J Super Hercules aircraft hangar.
The movement of the aircraft was monitored by the Indian Air Force and security agencies from its entry into Indian airspace to its landing at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad. After its arrival here, India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met it at around 7:30 pm.
