The police had encountered accused Akshay Shinde on September 23 at around 6:15 pm.
The father of Badlapur sexual assault accused Akshay Shinde on Friday demanded a place to bury his son. The father said that people were not allowing Akshay’s body to be buried. The body of the accused is kept in the mortuary of a hospital in Thane.
Bombay High Court, while hearing the petition of Akshay’s father, has ordered the police to search a deserted place and perform the last rites of Akshay.
Shinde was accused of sexually assaulting two minor girls in a school in Badlapur in Thane district. He was in police custody, where he died in an encounter.
The government had said that Akshay snatched the police revolver and opened fire. The police opened fire in self-defense and Akshay was killed.
After this incident, Akshay’s family alleged that he was beaten severely in custody. An encounter was conducted to suppress the matter. Even his dead body was not allowed to be seen.

The accused had earlier told the father that he should be buried after his death. According to the news report, the accused’s lawyer Amit Katranvare told news agency PTI that Akshay had earlier expressed his wish that he be buried instead of being burnt.
Accused accused of sexually abusing two girls aged 3 and 4 years On August 12 and 13, two girls aged 3 and 4 years studying in KG were sexually abused in the girls washroom of the school. After the incident, both the girls were afraid of going to school. When the parents of a girl became suspicious, they interrogated their daughter.
After this the girl told the whole story. Then the parents of that girl talked to the parents of the other girl. After this, medical test of both the girls was done, in which sexual abuse was revealed.
