Sangrur SSP Sartaj Chahal said that on the basis of Indrajeet’s complaint, a case was registered against Manpreet at Cyber Crime Police Station Sangrur on January 14. Police arrested the accused from Sangrur on January 15 for cyber crime. A case of murder is already registered against him in Canada. He is wanted by the Canadian police. Formal talks are being held with the Canadian Police in this regard. If the Canadian police asks him for questioning then the next procedure will be followed as per Indian law.
