During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Netherlands, an agreement was reached to bring the 11th century historical Chola copper plates to India. These are about 1000 years old Tamil documents, which contain historical information related to the Chola Empire.
Under the agreement, 11th century Chola copper plates will soon be brought to India. It is a collection of 21 large and 3 small copper plates. Most of these articles are written in Tamil language. Modi said that these plaques contain information related to King Rajendra Chola I and his father King Rajaraja Chola I.
Copper plates are plates made of copper, on which important things were written in ancient times. According to experts, these documents were taken abroad in the 19th century when European countries were doing trade and research in India and other parts of Asia.
Agreement between Tata Electronics and ASML
An agreement was also signed between Tata Electronics and Dutch company ASML at an event organized by Tata in The Hague. This agreement is to increase cooperation in the field of semiconductor and chip technology.
ASML is among the world’s leading chip machine manufacturing companies, while Tata Electronics is increasing investment in the semiconductor sector in India.

PM Modi met the King and Queen of Netherlands
Modi met King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands in Hague city on Saturday. This meeting took place in the royal palace ‘Palace House Ten Bosch’.
During the meeting, further strengthening of relations between India and Netherlands was discussed. Both talked about increasing work together in areas like education, technology, semiconductor, digital technology, water management and green energy.
The King and Queen of the Netherlands also hosted a dinner in Prime Minister Modi’s honour. Recalling the visit of the King and Queen to India in 2019, Modi said that that visit had given new strength to the relations between the two countries. PM Modi thanked the Netherlands government for its hospitality.

PM Modi said – Now is the best time to invest in India
In the CEO round table meeting held on Saturday in Hague city of Netherlands, Modi said that this is the best time for investment and business in India. He said that due to reforms in tax, labor laws and government system, manufacturing in India has now become cheaper and easier.
PM Modi said that electronics, which was earlier a major import sector, has now become India’s major export sector. India and Netherlands will increase work together in areas like green hydrogen, technology and innovation.
More than 300 Dutch companies working in India
Prime Minister Modi said that the FTA (Free Trade Agreement) agreement between India and the European Union will open new opportunities for both the parties. Also, both the countries are working towards strengthening their partnership.
PM Modi appealed to Dutch companies to invest more in India. He said that more than 300 Dutch companies are already working in India and India is becoming a fast growing economy. PM Modi said that those doing business in India will get good opportunities and better results.
