The company has introduced a new Galaxy Forever plan for those purchasing Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Under this, the monthly EMI of both the foldable phones will be reduced by 25%. However, low EMI does not mean 25% discount on the phone. 40% of the price of the phone will have to be paid after 24 months. Since this phone is very expensive, many people want to use the phone by paying less money and later they will pay the full amount. Keeping this in mind, this scheme has come.
Samsung has come up with a new way to buy its expensive foldable phones. The company has introduced a new 24-month plan in the Galaxy Forever program for Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Under this, customers can buy the phone by paying low EMI every month, but a large part of the total price of the phone will have to be paid later.

In the new plan, the EMI of Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra reduces from Rs 9,417 to Rs 6,997. Whereas the EMI of Galaxy Z Fold8 reduces from Rs 8,584 to Rs 6,416. That means the monthly EMI reduces by about 25 percent. This plan is for 24 months.
40 percent money will have to be paid after 2 years
The most important thing here is that Samsung Has not reduced the price of the phone by 25 percent. The company is only changing the method of payment. In the Galaxy Forever plan, 60 percent of the price of the phone is paid through EMI of 24 months. Galaxy Forever program fee is also attached with this. The remaining 40 percent amount has to be paid after completion of 24 months. This is called bullet payment.
For example, the starting price of Galaxy Z Fold8 is Rs 1,79,999, while the price of Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts from Rs 1,99,999. In such a situation, seeing the low EMI, it would not be right to assume that the phone has become cheaper. If the customer wants to keep the phone with himself, then the remaining 40 percent amount will have to be paid after 24 months.
Three options will be available after 2 years
After completion of 24 months, customers will have three options. First, he can return his old phone and get a new Galaxy phone. Secondly, by paying the remaining amount of 40 percent, you can keep the existing phone with yourself. Third, one can exit the Galaxy Forever program by returning the phone. These options will be available under Samsung’s terms.
Samsung has also given the option to return the phone or upgrade before the completion of 24 months. On returning the phone between 10 to 11 months, you can get up to 55 percent assured buyback value, up to 50 percent in 12 to 13 months, up to 45 percent in 14 to 18 months and up to 40 percent in 19 to 25 months.
Samsung Care+ will also be available
The Galaxy Forever plan also includes Samsung Care+. In this the phone gets protection from accidental and liquid. For this, the customer will not need to purchase Care+ separately.
