‘Divya Bhaskar Gujarati Film Awards 2026’ was organized on June 14 to honor the best talents of Gujarati cinema, theater and OTT. Presented by Gujarat Tourism and powered by Tanishq, TV serial ‘Anupama’ fame Arvind Vaidya was honored with Life Time Achievement and Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi was honored with ‘Pride of Cinema’ award in this ceremony. Gujarat Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi handed over these awards to the winners. During this period, the film ‘Lalo’, which earned Rs 100 crore at the box office, won the maximum 8 awards. Darshan Jariwala, Tiku Talsania and social worker Anar Patel also specially participated in this grand event. Arvind Vaidya received the Life Time Achievement Award. The film ‘Lalo’ won the maximum 8 awards. For the first time in the history of Gujarati cinema, the blockbuster film ‘Lalo’, which earned more than Rs 100 crore, had its full impact in this award ceremony also. This film received maximum 19 nominations in different categories, out of which the film won 8 awards. To celebrate this success, the film’s director, producer and entire star cast were present at the ceremony. Many big stars reached the red carpet. Many well-known faces of Bollywood and Gujarati cinema were seen on the red carpet of the awards show. These included actress Daisy Shah, Isha Kansara and singer Arvind Vegada. During the ceremony, Gujarati singer Ishani Dave and pop star Swara Ojha graced the occasion with their voices, while actress Pooja Joshi gave a dance performance. Apart from this, the trio of Manan Desai, Chirayu and Om made the audience laugh a lot with their comedy act.
