Indigo flight 6E-2608 coming from Delhi to Pune received a bomb threat on Thursday evening. After landing at Pune airport, security agencies conducted a thorough search of the plane, but no explosives were found. According to officials, the scheduled time of the flight was 8:40 pm, but the plane landed at Pune airport at 9:24 pm. The flight was parked at 9:27. After this, Air Traffic Control (ATC) informed the apron control about the bomb threat. According to media reports, a handwritten note on tissue paper was found in the toilet of the flight, in which it was written that there was a bomb in the flight. The flight was shifted to isolation parking. Esper Control informed all concerned agencies. The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) conducted a thorough examination of the aircraft. Officials said that no suspicious or objectionable thing was found during the investigation. The flight was allowed to fly after the investigation. An official said that after all the necessary safety checks were completed, the plane was allowed to operate again for normal operation. The entire situation was handled as per the prescribed procedure.
