Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor allegedly received a call in the name of Lawrence gang member Harry Boxer. The caller demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore. According to news agency IANS, Tusshar Kapoor informed this to Mumbai Police. After this the investigation was handed over to Anti-Extortion Cell and Crime Branch. The technical team of the crime branch examined the audio recording of the threatening call. The voice was then matched to Harry Boxer’s official audio sample. According to senior police officials, the two voices did not match. Due to this the police suspect that it was a fake call. Someone tried to create fear by taking the name of the gang. Now the police is searching for the person who sent the threatening audio recording. It is noteworthy that Lawrence Gang’s henchman Harry Boxer is accused of threatening many people associated with Bollywood and the film industry. The most prominent name among these is that of actor Ranveer Singh. According to NDTV report, Harry had sent a voice note to Ranveer’s manager demanding a ransom of Rs 10 crore. Ranveer and his staff were threatened with death if the amount was not paid. Harry Boxer and Lawrence Gang were also said to be behind the firing incident outside the house of film director Rohit Shetty. He took responsibility for this through a voice note. Famous Punjabi and Bollywood singer Guru Randhawa was also threatened by Harry Boxer. According to an alleged audio that went viral on social media, due to his closeness to Salman Khan, firing was done at a gym in Guru Randhawa’s Delhi. He was also warned about the future. Apart from this, comedian Kapil Sharma has also been the target of the gang. There has been firing at his cafe in Canada. Tusshar has got recognition from ‘Golmaal’ franchise. It is noteworthy that Tusshar Kapoor is the son of famous actor Jitendra and producer Shobha Kapoor. His elder sister Ekta Kapoor is a TV and film producer. Tusshar made his Bollywood debut in the year 2001 with the film ‘Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai’. Kareena Kapoor was seen with him in this film. The film was a hit and Tusshar received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. After this he worked in films like ‘Kya Dil Ne Kaha’, ‘Jeena Sirf Mere Liye’ and ‘Yeh Dil’. However, he got the most recognition from comedy films. ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum’, ‘Golmaal’, ‘Golmaal Returns’ and ‘Golmaal 3’ are his famous films.
