US President Trump has included 23 countries in the list of major drug smuggling or illegal drug production countries. These countries include countries like Afghanistan, China, India, Pakistan, Columbia, Bolivia, and Venezuela.

Trump said in the ‘Presidential Determination Report’ submitted to the US Parliament on Monday that these countries are involved in the production and smuggling of illegal drugs and chemicals used for them, which are a threat to the security of the US and its citizens.

Trump said that deadly drugs such as drug smuggling, especially Fentanell have created conditions like National Emergency in the US. This is causing public health crisis and is the main reason for the death of Americans aged 18 to 44 years.

China described China as the biggest base of Phantanelle drugs

Trump said that China is the biggest source of chemical making dangerous drugs like Phantanelle. Along with this, he is also promoting other narcotics like methmfetamine. Trump asked China to stop these chemicals and take action on smugglers.

At the same time, the US State Ministry said that countries like Afghanistan, Bolivia, Myanmar, Columbia, and Venezuela have completely failed to take concrete action against drugs. These countries have been demanded to take more strict measures for drug control.

However, the ministry cleared that the name of a country in this list does not mean that its government is not taking action against drugs.

Trump said- Drugs from Afghanistan reaching the international market

Trump has also made serious allegations against Afghanistan. He said that the Taliban had announced a ban on illegal drugs, but the production of drugs and the production of methmfetamine continues.

These drugs are reaching the international markets and the income from it is funding the international criminal gangs.

Trump said that some members of the Taliban are earning profits from this trade, due to which Afghanistan has been failed to control drugs.
