US Commerce Minister Howard Lutnik said in an interview on Sunday that he has to fix many countries including India. These include Switzerland and Brazil.

Lutnik warned that these countries should open their markets and do not take such steps that will cause damage to America, which is why our relationships are facing problems.

In a conversation with News Nation, he said that if India wants to sell goods in America, it will have to accept the conditions of the Trump administration. The US minister has advised India to react properly.

He said that these issues will be resolved over time, but if you want to sell your goods to American consumers, then you have to keep pace with the President of America.

Negotiations continue to do trade deal soon in India America

Significantly, between 22 to 24 September, a high-level Indian delegation led by India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal went to the US. During this period, the two countries had important talks about bilateral trade agreement (BTA) and investment.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, Piyush Goyal met American trade representative Zamison Greire and Naminet US Ambassador Serjio Gore for India. The two countries admitted that negotiations would be continued to fulfill the trade agreement early, so that it proves beneficial for the two countries.

Lootnik has kept 3 conditions for removing tariffs

On September 5, Lootinak had placed three conditions for removing 25% extra tariffs on India. He had said that India would have to stop buying oil from Russia, separate from BRICS and support America.

He also said that in a month or two, India would come to a conversation table with Trump and apologize. According to Lutnik, India will try to make a new deal with Trump. The deal will be on Trump’s terms and will finalize it with Prime Minister Modi.

After 50% tariff, the matter started again on 16 September

• On September 16, the US team reached India to talk on the trade deal for the first time after Trump’s 50% tariff was imposed. The trade deal in New Delhi had a conversation between the two countries for about 7 hours.
• The government had issued a statement saying- positive discussion was held on many aspects of trade agreement in the meeting. The goal of the two countries is to make an agreement that is beneficial for both and strengthens bilateral trade.
