Husband, wife and 3 children died in Pandrathan, Srinagar due to room heater. Their bodies were found in the waist on Sunday. Investigation revealed suffocation due to room heater. At the same time, flight operations also remained closed at Srinagar Airport due to dense fog. Same conditions may prevail on Monday also.

The temperature in most of the districts of the state is at freezing point. It was -8.1°C in Kokernag, -4°C in Gulmarg and -3.2°C in Pahalgam. Cold wave also continues here. Snowfall continues in Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam, Gurez, Shopian. Which will continue on Monday also.

Due to dense fog in Delhi, 51 trains ran late on Sunday. Due to zero visibility, 160 flights were delayed and 7 were cancelled. It may rain in Delhi-NCR on Monday. Severe cold continues in Haryana and Punjab also. Due to increasing cold in Jharkhand, classes from KG to 8th have been canceled from January 7 to 13.

The period of severe cold will start again in Madhya Pradesh from January 7. There are chances of rain in most of the districts of the state on January 10. There may be a sharp drop in temperature in Rajasthan from Monday. The day and night temperature may drop by 2-3°C. Cold wave will also have an impact.
