Director Siddharth Anand, who has directed blockbuster films like ‘Pathan’, had a deep contemplation-filled meeting with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of Art of Living in Mumbai on 20 January. This meeting with producer Mahavir Jain focused on his new international thriller ‘White’, which is inspired by the true story of Colombia’s 52-year civil war – non-violence.

On this occasion, Siddharth Anand said- White is the pride of India in many ways. Today the world is divided, this film will show how Indian values can show the path to peace.” Describing Gurudev’s presence as “spiritual power”, he said, “Sitting with him gives balance. White will also give the same message of peace.”

Starring National Award winner Vikrant Massey and an international cast, White is inspired by the true story of Colombia’s 52-year civil conflict and its historic resolution through non-violence and peace. This film is directed by Montu Bassi.
Having completed an intensive shooting schedule in Colombia and India, White is being hailed as a landmark film that will effectively present India’s philosophical leadership to a global audience. This film is being made in English and Spanish languages and will be released this year.
