Hamas Chief Haniyeh died on 31 July 2024 at around 2 am in a building in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Saturday evening that Hamas chief Haniyeh was killed by a short-range missile. This missile was loaded with 7 kg of explosives. Iran has described Haniyeh’s death as a terrorist incident.

The IRGC statement said that this missile attack was carried out by Israel. The US criminal government also supported it. This terrorist operation was carried out from outside the guest house where Haniyeh was staying.

Iran reiterated that it will take revenge for the attack and said that the murder of martyr Ismail Haniyeh will be avenged. The daring and terrorist Zionist regime will be severely punished. Revenge will be taken at the right time and place.

According to Al Jazeera, Israel is still silent on this matter. There has been no response so far after this statement of IRGC. However, America has responded to this. America has said that we were neither involved in this nor did we know anything.

Claim- Israel wanted to kill Haniyeh at Raisi’s funeral
British media house The Telegraph has claimed in its report that Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad is behind the killing of Haniyeh. Mossad wanted to kill Haniyeh during the last farewell ceremony of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. However, the plan could have failed due to the huge crowd, so it was postponed.

Hamas also said – Haniyeh’s room was targeted with a rocket
Hamas spokesman and deputy chief Khalil al-Hayya gave an official statement only after Haniyeh’s death. Khalil said that the house in Tehran where Haniyeh was staying was directly targeted by a rocket. Khalil said that the military wing Al Qassim Brigade will not let the death of the Hamas chief go in vain.

Iran’s Supreme Leader said – we will avenge Haniyeh’s death
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has also blamed Israel for Haniyeh’s murder. He said that Israel has created trouble for itself by attacking. Haniyeh has been killed on Iranian soil. He was our guest and hence it is our duty to avenge his death.

Hezbollah also promised to take revenge from Israel
Tensions have increased across the Middle East since Haniyeh’s death. Meanwhile, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has promised to take revenge from Israel. He said that at present Israelis seem very happy, but in the coming days they will cry a lot. Nasrallah declared an open war against Israel on all fronts.

He said that Israel has crossed the red line. Israelis do not know how we will respond to these deaths. Earlier, Haniyeh was given a final farewell in Tehran yesterday i.e. on Thursday. Thousands of people participated in it. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei led the funeral procession. After this, Haniyeh’s body was brought to Qatar.

Just hours after Nasrallah’s threat, Hezbollah carried out an airstrike on Israel. According to a CNN report, Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets from Lebanon on northern Israel. According to the Israeli army, only 5 of these rockets were able to enter the Israeli border. There is no report of any damage in the attack.
