In Maharashtra’s Pune district, a 4-year-old girl was raped and murdered by crushing her with a stone. The girl was kidnapped by a 65 year old man. After raping, the accused brutally murdered her by crushing her head with a stone. The police have arrested the accused. People have now taken to the streets to demand strict action against the accused. The girl had come to spend summer holidays at her maternal grandmother’s house in Nasrapur village of Bhor tehsil of Pune. On Saturday she was playing outside the house. Meanwhile, around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, 65 year old Bhimrao Kamble coaxed her and took her to the cattle shed near his house. It was in this stable that he brutalized the girl. After this, he hid the body under a pile of cow dung lying in the stable, so that no one could suspect it. The girl’s body was found in the stable. When the girl did not return home for a long time, the family members started searching for her. Even after searching the entire village, no trace of him was found. Meanwhile, some people also searched for the girl in the stable and her dead body was recovered. Everyone was stunned to see the condition of the girl. The police was informed about the incident. When the police searched nearby CCTV cameras, they saw in one of the footage the accused taking the girl towards the stable. The police immediately took Bhimrao Kamble into custody. At present he is being interrogated. The villagers set up camp in front of the stable. After the incident, anger spread in the entire village. Hundreds of villagers gathered at the spot and started demanding the handing over of the accused to them. The villagers say that they will give the girl’s body to the police until the accused is handed over to them. The villagers have set up camp in front of the stable. Top police officials have also reached the spot and are trying to convince the people. In view of the situation, heavy police force has been deployed in the entire village. After the incident, people of the village protested and blocked the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway, causing huge traffic jam. Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill has assured the protesters that a charge sheet in this case will be filed within 15 days. In this case, in case of rape of a girl below 12 years of age, the culprit can be punished with death or life imprisonment under sections 64, 65, 70 of BNS. Apart from this, sections of POCSO Act can also be added to it. Rape of a 7 year old girl in Chhattisgarh: A case of rape of a 7 year old girl has come to light on April 29 in Tilda Nevra area of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The incident happened when the girl had gone to a wedding ceremony. On the complaint of family members, the police showed promptness and arrested the accused. The police have named the accused as Rajkumar alias Raja Verma (30 years). According to information received from Tilda police, the victim’s family had come to the area to attend a wedding ceremony. On April 29, 2026, around 8 to 9 pm, his 7-year-old daughter was playing with other children. Meanwhile, Rajkumar alias Raja Verma, who lived in his neighborhood, was also present there.
