Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad had conspired to assassinate Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir and his delegation during Iran peace talks in Switzerland. This claim has been made by Brazilian journalist Pepe Escobar in a podcast.
According to the journalist’s claim, when Pakistani officials came to know about this, they threatened Israel, after which Israel had to change its plan.
This claim is related to the time when the delegations of Pakistan and Qatar were present at the Bergenstock Resort in Switzerland. The first round of talks was completed between Iran and America to end the conflict in West Asia.

Pepe Escobar said the Mossad thing in Mario Nofal’s podcast.
Claim- Pakistan sent a threatening message to Israel
During a podcast with political commentator Mario Naufal, Escobar said that the Pakistani Army had received highly credible information that the Mossad was preparing to attack on the orders of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Escobar claimed that Israel was not included in the negotiations between the US and Iran, so he was unhappy with the process. He also says that Israel’s military campaign in Lebanon made the path to a peace agreement more difficult.
Escobar further said that after getting information about this conspiracy, Pakistan had also sent a warning to Israel. According to him, this message was probably delivered through Oman. In this, it was said from Pakistan that if anything happens to the Pakistani delegation, Israel will be wiped off the map. However, as soon as this claim came to light, it was rejected by Pakistan.

US Vice President JD Vance, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir participated in the talks held in Switzerland on Sunday.
Pakistani officials deny conspiracy
ARY News Chairman Kamran Khan quoted a senior Pakistani security official as saying that this allegation is complete nonsense and meaningless. The official said the entire visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir to Switzerland was completed as per schedule and without any hiccups.
According to the official, no security alert was issued at any time during the visit. Neither Swiss security agencies nor American security teams had expressed concern about any possible threat.
He also said that the security arrangements for the Prime Minister and the Army Chief in Lucerne remained normal and fully active throughout. There was no information about any kind of murder plot or security threat. He called it a fictional story.
Pakistan still does not consider Israel as a country
Israel and Pakistan have considered each other as adversaries for a long time. There is no strategic partnership between the two countries. Even today Pakistan does not recognize Israel as a country.
Earlier, Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had sharply criticized Israel during the discussion on regional ceasefire efforts. He described Israel as evil and a curse for humanity. He was also accused of committing genocide in Lebanon. Pakistan is the only Islamic country in the world with nuclear weapons. At the same time, Israel is also considered a nuclear power.
Israeli officials immediately reacted to these statements of Pakistan’s Defense Minister. Rejecting the allegations, he raised the question that when senior ministers of the Pakistan government are making such statements, can Islamabad play the role of an impartial mediator between America and Iran. According to Pakistan’s digital news platform DCurrent, several journalists described the story as baseless and devoid of facts.
