After the massive flood in Nepal, mass burial of unidentified bodies has been started. The administration has dug hundreds of graves in Devghat forest of Chitwan. Here, those bodies are being buried which have not been identified and which have started deteriorating due to passage of time. 196 bodies have been buried in the last two days.

According to officials, many bodies were found in such a bad condition that it is difficult to identify them. Therefore, identification numbers and necessary records are being kept with each dead body, so that they can be further identified through DNA testing. Meanwhile, more than 3 thousand people are still missing and their families are busy searching for their loved ones.

On August 26, due to the breaking of the glacier in Tibet, there was sudden flood in Nepal’s Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers. So far 788 people have died in this disaster in Nepal, while the death toll in Tibet has reached 16. More than 3 thousand people are still missing.

At the same time, questions are being raised about China sharing information about the danger of glaciers before this tragedy. On May 27, a meeting of officials of Nepal and China was held. According to Nepali officials, they had demanded advance information about the initial movement and water level in the glaciers, but they did not get as much information from China as they wanted.
