Recently, Siddharth Kanan had asked Pooja Bedi during an interview whether she had ever met Parveen Babi (father’s ex). In response to this, Pooja said- ‘I met Parveen Babi in my childhood, because we used to often go to her house, which was very close to our house. We all used to play together in a hall. She seemed very sweet, warm and gentle.

‘Then they (Parveen Babi and Kabir Bedi) broke up, and after many years when she returned to India, everyone was saying that something was wrong, something was not right with her. I went to Johnny Bakshi’s house. We knocked the door, she opened the door and she looked very different. She had gained a lot of weight, her hair was disheveled, but she was very happy to see me, said “Pooja, come inside” and hugged me.

Pooja Bedi further said, ‘We sat and started talking, everything seemed very normal. Then suddenly she said, “I can’t give you anything to eat, because I only eat eggs.” I asked, “Why only eggs?” And she said, “Because it’s the only thing they can’t mess with.” I asked, “Who they?” Then she said, “Secret Service, FBI, CIA… all of them.” Johnny and I started looking at each other. Then she said, “I can’t even buy makeup from the supermarket because they add poison to it.” I said, “But how do they know which store you are going to go to today and pick up which box of which brand?” She said, “They know everything.”

Pooja further said in the conversation, ‘I looked at Johnny and then I realized that there was something very seriously wrong here. I was very worried, very confused as to what had happened to him. This was a big shock, because in my childhood I had seen her in a very different, happy form and now after years, she was in this condition. Then she started blaming a superstar, saying that all this happened because of him. It was very sad to see him change like this. It is really very painful to see such a change in life.
