Intelligence agencies have issued an alert of terrorist attacks in Delhi and Uttarakhand. After receiving the threatening email, security at temples, government offices, railway stations, police establishments and other sensitive places has been increased in both the states. Additional police force has been deployed. According to sources, it has been claimed in the email that many places in Delhi and Uttarakhand can be targeted in the coming days. Some political leaders have also been mentioned in it. However, till now no concrete input has been received regarding the time or place of any attack. Delhi Police is ascertaining the authenticity of the email and its source. Cyber experts are investigating its digital trail. Security agencies say that at present no apprehension is being ignored. As a precautionary measure, the entire matter is being closely monitored.
