Finland President Alexander Stub has said that India is an emerging superpower. It cannot be considered like Russia and China. Stub asked Western countries to have more deep relations with Delhi at a meeting of Helsinki Security Forum 2025.
Stub also emphasized India’s important role in ending the Russia-Ukraine war. Speaking in Forum 2025, Stub said,
I have talked to PM Modi on the situation in Ukraine. India has generous interest in this, so we have to include them in peace efforts.
Peace starts with ceasefire in Ukraine
Stub has said that the peace process in Ukraine should begin with a ceasefire. After this, the formal date of the meeting should be set between Ukraine President Vladimir Jailonsky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Stub said that economic sanctions should continue on Russia and Ukraine will also have to increase military help.
