After this India made a comeback. The team took three wickets within 9 runs and reduced Sri Lanka’s score from 209 runs for 3 wickets to 218 runs for 6 wickets. Sonal Dinusha is unbeaten on 7 runs and Keshara Nuwantha is unbeaten on 3 runs. Suthar took 2 wickets, apart from Pasindu, Kamindu Mendis scored 55 runs and Dhananjay de Silva scored 23 runs. For India, Manav Suthar has taken 2 wickets in the second innings. Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Saransh Jain got one success each. Sonal Dinusha scored a century in the second consecutive test. Sonal Dinusha scored 103 runs in the first innings of Sri Lanka. This was his third 50+ score in the series. However, despite his innings, Sri Lanka could not save the follow-on and were all out for 290 runs. India declared the first innings at 503/9. In reply, Sri Lanka was all out for 290 runs. India got a lead of 213 runs and gave follow-on to Sri Lanka.
