Today is the fifth and last day of the second Test match being played in Colombo. Sri Lanka, playing follow-on after falling behind India in the first innings, lost 6 wickets for 229 runs in the second innings. He is just 16 runs ahead of India. Even though India’s chances of victory seem high, rain can spoil Team India’s game. The rainfall forecast in Colombo from 10 am to 12 noon is more than 80%. There is forecast of rain further also. India took 3 wickets within 9 runs. India had lost 2 wickets of Sri Lanka for 63 runs in the second innings. After this, Pasindu Suriyabandara and Kamindu Mendis made a partnership of 115 runs for the third wicket. Pasindu was stumped by Rishabh Pant at the score of 92 runs by spinner Manav Suthar. After this India made a comeback. The team took three wickets within 9 runs and reduced Sri Lanka’s score from 209 runs for 3 wickets to 218 runs for 6 wickets. Sonal Dinusha is unbeaten on 7 runs and Keshara Nuwantha is unbeaten on 3 runs. Suthar took 2 wickets, apart from Pasindu, Kamindu Mendis scored 55 runs and Dhananjay de Silva scored 23 runs. For India, Manav Suthar has taken 2 wickets in the second innings. Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Saransh Jain got one success each. Sonal Dinusha scored a century in the second consecutive test. Sonal Dinusha scored 103 runs in the first innings of Sri Lanka. This was his third 50+ score in the series. However, despite his innings, Sri Lanka could not save the follow-on and were all out for 290 runs. India declared the first innings at 503/9. In reply, Sri Lanka was all out for 290 runs. India got a lead of 213 runs and gave follow-on to Sri Lanka.
