Redmi Pad 2 Launched: Xiaomi has launched the all-new Redmi Pad 2 in India on Wednesday, June 18. According to the company, the Pad 2 Series brings together the segment’s best 27.94 cm 2.5K display, the largest 9000mAh battery, and a powerful MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra processor.
Commenting on the launch, Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Xiaomi India, said, “The Redmi Pad 2 Series combines immersive visuals, reliable performance, and the intuitive experience of Xiaomi HyperOS in a design built for everyday use.”

Redmi Pad 2: Display and audio
The tablet sports a vibrant 27.94 cm 2.5K display with 274 ppi pixel density, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also offers 10-bit colour depth that supports 1.07 billion colours and up to 600 nits brightness in outdoor mode. Complementing the visual experience is a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
Redmi Pad 2: Storage, battery, and charging details
According to the company, the Redmi Pad 2 series offers faster data access and shorter loading times. It supports up to 16GB of RAM (8GB + 8GB virtual) and up to 2TB of expandable storage. It has a large 9000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, and a 15W charger is also included in the box.
Redmi Pad 2: Camera, performance, other details
Redmi Pad 2 Series is powered by the MediaTek G100 Ultra processor, paired with Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. Its octa-core architecture consists of two Cortex-A76 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. It has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. An IP52 rating offers protection against light splashes and dust, while it includes a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and built-in mic.
