A month after its protest at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar spread across India like wildfire, the Cockroach Janta Party on Monday announced a youth protest march on September 5 from India Gate to the New Delhi Police Headquarters, accusing the Centre of failing to fulfil its commitments that led to the withdrawal of the students’ movement on July 25.
Taking to X, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, while announcing the march, warned that they “will not accept this wishwasghaat (betrayal) with Gen Z, the young protesters, and the families of those who died.”
