After the UPSC results were announced on April 21 this year, Shakti Dubey arrived in Prayagraj from Delhi on the Vande Bharat train. Her family, relatives, and close friends welcomed her warmly with bouquets and garlands. She advises candidates preparing for the Civil Services that seriousness and consistency are essential for success in any exam. Regarding the use of social media, she said it shouldn’t be completely stopped, but a balance is crucial. She recommended using the internet and social media sparingly, while emphasising the importance of reading books. In a conversation with News 18, Shakti Dubey shared that her father inspired her to become an IAS officer and has always been her source of motivation. Shakti’s father is a sub-inspector in the UP Police. She mentioned that her father had more confidence in her becoming an IAS officer and topping the UPSC Civil Services exam than she did.
