What to expect from Oppo Reno15 Series: Here’s what company revealed

Oppo Reno 15 Series: Oppo is gearing up to introduce the design-focused Reno 15 series in India soon. While the company hasn’t announced a specific launch date yet, it has revealed several key features that customers will get in the upcoming series. From variants to display – here’s what we know so far:

• The Oppo Reno 15 series will be available in three variants — Reno15 Pro, Reno15 Pro Mini and Reno15.
• Each variant is designed with first-of-its-kind Holofusion technology, compact ergonomic hand-held feel and strong durability, the company said.
• The Reno15 Pro will be available in Sunset Gold and Cocoa Brown colours, while the Reno15 Pro Mini comes in Cocoa Brown as well as Glacier White colours, with a three-dimensional ribbon pattern. The Reno15 completes the lineup with Glacier White, Twilight Blue, and Aurora Blue colours.
• Oppo is introducing the Pro Mini variant for the first time in the Reno series. According to the company, this is being done to meet the growing demand for compact and easy-to-use smartphones in India.
• The Reno15 Pro Mini will feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with ultra-slim bezels as thin as 1.6mm and an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.35 per cent. It will weigh around 187 grams and measure 7.99mm in thickness.
• The Reno 15 Pro will measure 7.65mm thick and weigh approximately 205 grams. The Twilight Blue and Glacier White variants of the Reno 15 will measure 7.77mm thick, while the Aurora Blue variant will measure 7.89mm thick. All variants weigh approximately 197 grams.
• Furthermore, the Reno15 Pro features ultra-thin bezels of 1.15mm all around, framing the 6.78-inch AMOLED display and offering a screen-to-body ratio of 95.5 per cent with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 screen cover.
• Meanwhile, the Reno15 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 93.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
• Throughout this lineup, the refresh rate adjusts up to 120Hz when needed and reduces to save power during steady use.

According to the company, the Reno15 series also has the highest IP rating, which certifies it as protected against dust and water ingress.

• IP66: Splash protection
• IP68: Survives 1.5m freshwater immersion for up to 30 minutes
• IP69: Shields against high-pressure, high-temperature water blasts up to 80°C

Additionally, the series will feature a platinum-coated USB port that is corrosion-resistant.
