WBJEE Result: What Happened In The Past Years?
In 2024, a total of 99.53% of students who took the exam passed. Out of 79,025 male candidates, 78,621 succeeded, while 34,342 out of 34,467 female candidates passed. The top rank was achieved by Kingshuk Patra from Bankura District School, followed by Subhradeep Pal from Kalyani University School in second place, and Vivasan Biswas from Krishnanagar in third.
In 2023, Md Sahil Akhtar from DPS Ruby Park, Kolkata, secured the first rank in the state’s engineering entrance exam. The second rank went to Soham Das, and the third to Sara Mukherjee. Approximately 98,000 students took the exam that year.
In 2022, the pass percentage for WBJEE was 98.5%, with students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) dominating the top ten merit list. Himanshu Sekhar from Kolkata secured the top rank that year.
