Modi Biden deal: US President Biden (Joe Biden) and India’s Prime Minister Modi (Narendra Modi) have decided to set up a new Semiconductor Fabrication Plant focused on next-generation telecommunications, advanced sensing and power electronics for national security. This plant will be set up with the aim of manufacturing infrared, gallium nitride and silicon carbide semiconductors. It will be launched by a strategic technology partnership between Bharat Semi, 3RDTech and the US Space Force.
