Video | Prasenjeet Yadav On Capturing The Rare Black Tiger | National Geographic India Cover Story

For the first time in National Geographic magazine’s 136-year history, a cover story has been written and photographed entirely in India, by an Indian. At the heart of it is the hauntingly beautiful image of the rare black tiger from Simlipal, captured by scientist-turned-photographer Prasenjeet Yadav.  In his conversation with NDTV’s Arun Singh, he reflects on his journey of living in the jungle, the lessons he learned from the wild, the shy trait he shares with the black tiger, and the remarkable conservation story of India’s forests.
