A 54-year-old scooter rider was killed in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Kochi’s Cheranelloor area after a Mercedes-Benz allegedly driven by a judge’s minor son rammed into his two-wheeler between 2 am and 3 am. The victim was reportedly returning home after work. The car is registered in the judge’s name, and a case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The judge’s minor son has reportedly been granted bail, raising questions over accountability in the fatal crash.
