Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have the internet doing full-on analysis again. On Monday, Kim shared an Instagram carousel captioned ‘lately’, and tucked into it was a playful video from a bike ride in New York City with Hamilton. For many online, this looked like the clearest sign yet that the two are not keeping things quite so hush-hush any more.
The post has dropped right in the middle of a romance timeline that people have been watching closely for months. Kardashian and Hamilton have been linked since late last year, with dating rumours picking up pace in January. Since then, they have been spotted together in London, Paris and Japan, and this latest upload has only made the chatter louder.
What Kim’s ‘lately’ post showed
The biggest talking point in the carousel was a playful video from the New York bike ride. Hamilton, 41, filmed Kardashian, 45, as she tried to take a selfie while riding. In the middle of it, she appeared to lose her balance, nearly fall off the bike and let out a scream. The moment was candid, funny and very off-guard, the sort of clip that said plenty without a formal announcement.
The post also included photographs of Kardashian’s four children with ex-husband Kanye West: North West, 12, Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and Psalm West, 7.
Why the dating chatter has grown louder
The Instagram upload comes after Kardashian and Hamilton were seen together during a Malibu beach outing on April 20. In the photos and videos that surfaced online, the rumoured couple were seen walking along the shore, chatting and laughing before heading into the water for a swim. Kardashian wore a bikini top with a partially unzipped black wetsuit, while Hamilton wore a T-shirt and shorts and was also photographed carrying a surfboard.
During that outing, Kardashian leaned in and the two shared a kiss while holding each other. Before that, on April 7, the pair also shared a video from Tokyo on Instagram in which Kardashian was seen riding in a Ferrari driven by Hamilton. That was widely seen as their first public acknowledgement after months of dating rumours.
The two are also believed to have known each other for more than a decade, having moved in the same social circles before things reportedly turned romantic.
