Amidst the ongoing action against corruption in UP, the Vigilance organization took a major action and raided the premises of former Assistant Regional Transport Officer ARTO Lalit Kumar, posted in Agra. In this action taken in the case of disproportionate assets, there has been a stir in the Transport Department after huge amount of cash, gold, silver and documents related to property worth crores of rupees were recovered. According to Vigilance investigation, complaints were being received against Lalit Kumar for a long time for acquiring assets beyond the known sources of income.
