Once again the internal strife in Indian boxing has come to the fore. Officials of various state boxing associations expressed deep displeasure and openly protested during the meeting held on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 at The Surya Hotel, New Friends Colony, New Delhi, regarding the functioning of Boxing Federation of India (BFI) President Ajay Singh. This group claimed that 27 out of 35 members of the boxing association in the country are directly with them.
