In Zaheerabad, Tamil Nadu, a gang of women posed as customers and stole a seven-tola gold necklace from a jewelery shop. Police suspect that this gang included three women and one man wearing burqa. They distracted the jeweler before running away with the necklace. Earlier, a similar incident of theft had taken place in Tandur also. Police have started investigating these incidents and have asked jewelery traders to remain alert.
