Due to the heavy flow of water in Mangrol area of the district, a large part of about 40 feet of the National Highway in front of Hussainabad was completely washed away, causing huge damage to the infrastructure. On the other hand, the effect of heavy rain is now clearly visible in Surat also. Due to torrential rains in the upper areas, the water level of Tapti river is continuously increasing.
