Iranian state media attributed the decision to what it called Washington’s “maximalism and unreasonable and unrealistic demands,” along with frequent shifts in position, contradictions, and the continuation of a so-called naval blockade and pressure tactics.
The first round of talks, held on April 11-12 in Islamabad, had failed after over 20 hours of talks.
