Actor Urvashi Rautela has reacted to a viral AI-generated image that depicted her touching the feet of Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The edited picture, which quickly spread across social media, drew criticism for promoting comparisons among female actors and portraying Urvashi in a demeaning manner.
Responding to the viral post, the actor spoke against online negativity and asked users to stop pitting women against each other.
The edited picture featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas seated on a throne, while Madhuri Dixit and Deepika Padukone stood beside them.
In the same frame, Urvashi was shown kneeling before the other actors, a depiction that triggered widespread criticism online for its tone and hierarchy.
Taking note of the circulation, Urvashi reshared the image on her Instagram story and spoke out against what she called the rising toxicity of fan-driven comparisons in the industry. She emphasised that such content fuels unnecessary negativity and pits women against each other.
“I truly believe every actress has her own journey, hard work, and destiny. Comparing women or creating fan wars only spreads negativity. Let’s celebrate talent, growth, and kindness instead. Please stop this toxicity (sic),” she wrote.
Her post was soon picked up widely across social media platforms, with many users echoing her sentiment and condemning the trend of ranking or comparing actors in a demeaning manner.
On the work front, Urvashi was last seen in the web series Inspector Avinash 2 alongside Randeep Hooda. She has also been in the spotlight recently for her high-profile appearances at the Cannes Film Festival.
