The fifth phase of admissions for the 2026-27 training session has begun at government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Uttar Pradesh. The process is aimed at filling seats left vacant after the fourth admission phase concluded on October 3.
According to Abhishek Singh, Executive Director of the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), UP, candidates can submit applications and make their choices online from October 6 until midnight on October 11, 2026.
Candidates who had registered earlier for government ITIs but could not secure admission can now submit fresh choices. Those who were not selected in the first three phases, or were selected but failed to complete admission, can log in using their registration number and date of birth through the Council’s website and select vacant trades and institutes.
Applicants can also update details such as gender, sub-category and educational qualifications. Those who do not submit fresh choices will be considered for seat allotment based on their original preferences. Candidates whose admission to a government ITI was cancelled later can also participate in the fifth phase.
Fresh applicants seeking admission to government or private ITIs must complete the online registration process. The application fee can be paid through the Union Bank of India payment gateway using debit or credit cards, internet banking or UPI, after which candidates can download or print their forms.
The registration fee is Rs 300 for General and OBC candidates, Rs 250 for SC and ST candidates, and Rs 100 for female applicants.
Details of vacant seats by district, institute and trade are available on the SCVT’s authorised website. Candidates can also contact their respective ITIs for information. Institutes have been directed to display updated vacancy details on their notice boards.
The fifth phase is expected to provide more young people access to vocational training aimed at improving employment and self-employment opportunities.
