Honey Singh sang many famous songs like ‘Blue Eyes’, ‘Brown Rang’ and ‘Love Dose’.
Rapper and singer Honey Singh did not appear before the Maharashtra Cyber Police on Monday. He was called for questioning in connection with his alleged objectionable remarks during a concert in Delhi.
According to Hindustan Times report, a Maharashtra Cyber official said that Honey Singh has asked for more time to appear before the investigating officer. Cyber police will now seek arrest warrant from the court and start the process of issuing Look-Out Circular (LOC) against them.
The matter is related to a video of a concert in Delhi. The video went viral on social media. In this, Honey Singh was seen making obscene references to having physical relations in vehicles.
Social media users had objected to Honey Singh’s comment. After this a complaint was made to the cyber police and a case was registered.

This incident is of January 2026, when Honey Singh attended a concert in Delhi as a guest.
What did the cyber police say?
Regarding the matter, an officer of Maharashtra Nodal Cyber Police said, “We had sent summons to Yo Yo Honey Singh, but he did not appear and has asked for some time.”
The official said the agency will now approach the concerned court for an arrest warrant. A look-out circular will also be issued to ensure that Honey Singh does not leave the country.

Honey Singh released the video and apologized
After the controversy regarding the matter, Honey Singh had released a video and apologized. He had said that the video clip was edited in such a way that it hurt people.
He had said that he never intended to hurt, insult or offend anyone.
Explaining the context of his comment, Honey Singh had said that he had spoken to a well-known gynecologist. The doctor had expressed concern over the increase in sexual infections among youth due to unsafe sex.
Honey Singh had said that he tried to give this message in a language which Gen Z could understand.
He had said in his video, “Given the large number of Gen Z, I tried to convey this message in the language they would like. However, I deeply regret that the way I said this was inappropriate and not acceptable to many people. I sincerely apologize.”

In April the court directed to remove the URL of the song
Earlier in April, the Delhi High Court had directed the Central Government to remove the URL of Honey Singh’s alleged song ‘Volume 1’ from social media and file-sharing platforms.
During the hearing, the court had described this song as extremely obscene, objectionable and insulting towards women. The court had said that artistic freedom and freedom of speech or expression cannot be used to justify such content.

Honey Singh has filed an affidavit in the Delhi High Court saying that he did not sing the controversial song ‘Volume 1’ of 2006.
This petition was filed by Hindu Shakti Dal. The organization had alleged that Honey Singh had sung two lines of this song during a concert at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi on March 1, 2025.
The organization claimed that this song by Honey Singh and rapper Badshah, released in 2006, was objectionable. The organization had also said that the song is available for children on online platforms.
In May, Delhi High Court had also directed Honey Singh to file an affidavit in connection with this petition.
