In fact, in 2024, the US Parliament passed a law, which says that the Chinese owner by Ticketkk will have to sell its American business or else the app will be banned. The bill was signed by former President Joe Biden.

After this, the Ministry of Information and Technology asked Apple to remove the tickets from its online store. Both companies removed the app. At that time there were 24 million tickets users in the country.
