Automobile company TVS Motors has received a net profit of Rs 618.48 crore in the third quarter of FY 2024-25. It has increased by 4.23% on an annual basis. The company made a profit of Rs 593.35 crore in the same quarter of a year ago.
TVS Motors’ standalone operations increased by 10.33% to Rs 9,097.05 crore in the October-December quarter. The company’s revenue was Rs 8,245.01 crore in the same quarter of a year ago. The amount received from selling goods and services is called revenue or revenue.
Total Income rose 9.08% to Rs 9,074 crore
Talking about total income in the third quarter, TVS Motors has earned Rs 9,074.36 crore. It has increased by 9.08% on an annual basis. The company earned a total of Rs 8,318.41 crore in the same quarter of FY 2023-24.
TVS sold 12.11 lakh vehicles in the third quarter
TVS Motors has sold the total 12.11 lakh (12,11,952) vehicles in the third quarter (Q3Fy25) of the current financial year 2024-25. The company sold 11 lakh (11,00,843) vehicles in the same quarter of last year.
That is, on an annual basis, the company’s cell has increased by 10.9%. In the last quarter, the company sold 12.28 lakh (12,28,223) vehicles in the last quarter.

EV sales increase by 57% on an annual basis
Apart from this, the electric vehicle cell has increased by 57% on an annual basis and it has reached 76 thousand units. EV sales were 48 thousand units in the same quarter of last year.
TVS shares give 20% return in a year
After the results, the stock of TVS Motors is trading at Rs 2,345.15 today (Tuesday, January 28) at Rs 2,345.15. The company’s stock has fallen 0.36% in the last one month.
At the same time, in the last 6 months it fell 5.61% and has climbed 20% in a year. The stock of TVS Motors has fallen by 2.55% since this year i.e. January 1, 2024. The company’s market-cap is Rs 1.11 lakh crore.

TVS is a multinational bike manufacturer company. It is India’s third largest motorcycle company in terms of revenue. The company’s annual average annual cell is more than 3 million.
However, its manufacturing capacity is more than 4 million two-wheelers. TVS is also the second largest exporter in India. The company sells its pits in more than 60 countries.
TVS founder TV Sundaram Iyengar started in 1911 with the first bus service of Madurai and established a company called TVS in the transportation business, which had a large fleet of trucks and buses called Sauudran Roadways.
