Tesla India has now announced the opening of its fourth showroom in Bengaluru. The company shared the post on X and wrote, ‘See you soon in Namma Bengaluru’.
This move points towards Tesla’s rapid expansion in India. Where the company is already present in Delhi, Mumbai and Gurugram.
When and how will the new showroom open in Bengaluru?
Tesla has not yet revealed the exact opening date, but the company’s focus is on the rapidly growing South Indian market. Bengaluru, being an IT hub, has a good number of high-net-worth individuals and EV interested customers.
People are very excited about X. One user wrote, ‘Welcome to Namma Bengaluru’. Another user said, ‘There is a huge Tesla fan base in Bengaluru, it is going to be awesome.

List of already existing showrooms
- First Showroom: Opening in July 2025 at Maker Maxity Mall, BKC, Mumbai.
- Second Showroom: Worldmark-3, an 8,200 sq ft experience center at Aerocity, Delhi, opens in August 2025.
- Third Showroom: A big center opened on Sohna Road in Gurugram, where sales, service and delivery take place.
- Fourth Showroom: Now the fourth showroom will be opened in Bengaluru, which will further strengthen Tesla’s footprint.
Model Y delivery and price details
Tesla has launched its Model Y in India, with prices starting at ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The company plans to start deliveries by September. Delhi-NCR and Mumbai are priority markets, but now Bengaluru will also be included soon. The Model Y has two variants – RWD and Long Range RWD.
Expansion of supercharging network
Tesla is also focusing on charging infrastructure. The first supercharger was installed at DLF Horizon Center in Gurugram in December last year. Now there is a plan to expand the network in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
This will provide seamless and sustainable mobility to customers. Tesla says these steps are part of its gradual expansion in India. Presence may increase in more cities in the coming months.

Tesla has tried to enter India for years, but was delayed due to import duties and regulations. The company started from Mumbai after getting relaxation in the government’s EV policy in 2025. Now rapidly expanding showrooms and charging stations. The company’s focus is on brand building and checking demand; manufacturing plans have not been disclosed at this time.
