Anna University has released the results of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 today, May 22. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check and download their TANCET 2026 results by visiting the official website at tancet.annauniv.edu. The scorecards can be downloaded from May 27 till June 26.
The University has further informed that several students are approaching for minor corrections (Initials in Name, Spelling in Name, DOB, Gender, Community, Nativity). “Hence, the students are informed to utilise the final opportunity given now to change/modify profile data by submitting the PROPER EVIDENCE to tanceeta@gmail.com. No more corrections will be carried out after downloading the Score card,” states the official notice.
How To Download TANCET Result 2026?
Step 1: Visit the official website: tancet.annauniv.edu.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for ‘TANCET 2026 Result’.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials like roll number, date of birth, etc.
Step 4: Click on submit button and your TANCET 2026 Result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download your result and take a printout for future reference.

A total of 30,912 candidates took part in the examination of which 7,281 candidates appeared for the MCA exam, 15,050 took the MBA examination, and 5,137 the CEETA PG exam. TANCET was conducted on May 9 in two sessions and CEETA PG for M.E./M.TECH./M.ARCH./M.PLAN. on May 10.
The TANCET question paper comprised five sections: Business Situations, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency, and English Usage with each containing 20 questions. Candidates will earn one mark for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response. Unanswered questions will not affect the score.
