The country is celebrating the 77th Republic Day today i.e. on 26 January (Monday). There will be no work in the Indian stock market today on the occasion of this national holiday. Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed for the day. Along with the equity segment, there will be a holiday in the derivatives and SLB segments as well. Now the market will open tomorrow i.e. Tuesday (January 27). Along with the stock market, the country’s largest commodity exchange ‘MCX’ will also remain closed today. There will be no trading on MCX in both morning and evening sessions. Usually the evening session remains open on some holidays, but on the occasion of Republic Day, trading is suspended for the whole day. There will be no trading in the currency and debt markets. There will be no movement in the currency derivatives segment and electronic debt promissory notes (EDP) market today. According to the RBI calendar, today is a national holiday in the banking sector, due to which the interbank call money market and Forex market will also remain closed. Republic Day is the first major holiday of the year. After this, in the coming months, trading in the stock market will also remain closed on occasions like Holi (03 March) and Good Friday (3 April). Investors are advised to manage their portfolio and pending orders as per these holiday calendar. The market will keep an eye on these factors on Tuesday. When the market opens on Tuesday, investors will keep an eye on the shares of Reliance Industries, Adani Group and the recent quarterly results (Q3 Results). Apart from this, global market signals and crude oil prices will also decide the direction of the market. Due to the proximity of the budget session, there may be ups and downs in the market next week. There was a decline in the market on Thursday. Earlier, there was a decline in the stock market on Friday i.e. 23 January. The Sensex closed at 81,538 with a fall of 770 points. At the same time, Nifty also fell by about 241 points, it closed at 25,048.
