There is an increase in the prices of gold and silver today i.e. on 25th September. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association i.e. IBJA, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 351 to reach Rs 1.51 lakh. One kg of silver has become costlier by Rs 1,070 to Rs 2.29 lakh.

Commodity expert Ajay Kedia says that banks of many countries around the world including China and India are buying gold. Apart from this, the festival season has also started. Due to this the demand for gold is increasing. In such a situation, gold can go up to 1 lakh 80 thousand by the end of this year. At the same time, silver can also go up to Rs 3 lakh per kg.

Gold became costlier by ₹ 18 thousand this year

This year, there are continuous fluctuations in the prices of gold and silver. Gold has become costlier by Rs 19 thousand so far in 2026. On December 31, 2025, 10g gold was at Rs 1.33 lakh, which is now at Rs 1.51 lakh.

Whereas silver was Rs 2.30 lakh per kg on December 31, 2025, which has now reached Rs 2.33 lakh. During this period, on January 29, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 1.76 lakh and silver had also made an all-time high of Rs 3.86 lakh.
