Today i.e. Friday, July 10, the Sensex is trading at 77,500 with a rise of 700 points (0.95%). Nifty has also increased by 200 points (0.90%), it has reached 24,150. There is maximum buying in IT and metal shares in today’s trading.
TCS shares rise more than 2% after TCS results
After the results of the first quarter of 2026-2027, TCS shares are up by more than 2% today. It is trading around Rs 2090. TCS shares have fallen by about 30 percent in the last 6 months. At the same time, it has fallen by 40% in one year.
TCS’s net profit increased by 5% to Rs 13,349 crore as compared to Rs 12,760 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue from operations during this period has also increased by 14% year-on-year to Rs 72,275 crore.
The company’s board has approved an interim dividend of Rs 12 per share for the financial year 2026-27 and has fixed July 15 as the record date for it.
