Benchmark stock market indices opened Monday’s trading session on a strong note as investors on Dalal Street reacted to the ceasefire between India and Pakistan amid escalating tensions.
The BSE Sensex was trading 1845.75 points higher at 81,300.22 at 9:22 am, while the NSE Nifty50 jumped 565.55 points to trade at 24,576.35.
