- Indian Stock Market Falls; Nifty Down 100, Sensex 300; Pharma & Banking Shares See Selloff

There is a decline in the stock market today i.e. on 2nd June. Sensex is trading at 74,100 level with a fall of 200 points. There is also a decline of about 100 points in Nifty, it is trading at the level of 23,300. Today there is more decline in pharma, health care and banking shares. There is maximum buying in IT shares.
Indian stock market overtaken by South Korea
South Korea’s stock market has overtaken India to become the sixth largest market in the world. The main reason for this boom is the big chip manufacturing companies, which are continuously making records on the basis of increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the world.
According to Bloomberg data, this year the total market cap of South Korea’s listed companies has increased by 86% to reach 5 trillion dollars (about Rs 475 lakh crore). On the other hand, the market cap of the Indian stock market has decreased to $ 4.8 trillion (about Rs 456 lakh crore).

There was a decline in the market yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on June 1, there was a decline in the stock market. The Sensex fell 508 points and closed at 74,267. Nifty also fell by 165 points, it closed at the level of 23,382.
