Sensex falls by more than 150 points: It is trading at 81,000 level, energy and metal stocks slipped

The stock market is witnessing a decline today i.e. on 9th September. The Sensex is trading at 81,000 level with a decline of more than 150 points. Out of its 30 stocks, 22 are in decline.

At the same time, Nifty has also fallen by about 50 points. It is trading at the level of 24,800. 29 stocks of Nifty 50 are seeing a decline and 21 are seeing a rise. Energy and metal stocks are in decline

Japan’s Nikkei fell 2.14%

  • In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei is down by 2.14% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is down by 1.83%. China’s Shanghai Composite is down by 0.93% and Korea’s Kospi is down by 0.78%.
  • On September 6, the Dow Jones of the US market fell 0.54% and closed at 40,755. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq rose 0.25% and closed at 17,127. The S&P500 closed at 5,503 with a fall of 0.30%.

3 IPOs are opening from today

Today, 3 Initial Public Offers (IPOs) will open for listing in the stock market. These include Bajaj Housing Finance Limited, Cross Limited and Tolins Tyres Limited. Investors will be able to bid for all three IPOs till September 11. There was a decline in the market on Friday

Earlier, on the last trading day of last week, i.e. on September 6, the Sensex closed at 81,183 with a fall of 1017 points (1.24%). Nifty also fell by 292 points (1.17%), it closed at 24,852.
