Reliance Industries, the country’s largest company in terms of market value, has made total income of Rs 263,380 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. This is about 10% more than last year. In the first quarter of last year, the company had earned Rs 240,357 crore.

If expenses like employee salaries, taxes, cost of raw materials are removed from the total income, then the owners of the company are left with Rs 22,146 crore as net profit (consolidated net profit). This is 16% more than the July-September quarter of 2024-25. Last year the company had made a profit of Rs 19,101 crore.

Revenue increased by 10% to ₹2.83 lakh crore

In the first quarter, Reliance generated revenue of Rs 2,83,548 crore from products and services. It has increased by 10% on annual basis. In the July-September quarter 2024, the company had generated revenue of Rs 258,027 crore.

The company has five main segments-

On Annual Basis (Consolidated)

  • Profit increased by 12.8% to Rs 7,379 crore in Q2FY26 as against Rs 6,539 crore in Q2FY25.
  • Revenue increased by 14.6% to ₹36,332 crore. It was ₹31,709 crore in the same quarter last year.
  • The company’s average revenue per user (ARPU) increased by 8.4% from ₹195 to ₹211.4 in the first quarter.

From oil to chemical to other business

On Annual Basis (Consolidated)

  • Oil to Chemical (O2C): Revenue stood at ₹1.60 lakh crore, up 3.7% from ₹1.55 lakh crore.
  • Oil & Gas: Revenue declined 1.22% to ₹6,103 crore from ₹6,179 crore.
  • Retail: Revenue increased 19% to ₹90,544 crore from ₹76,325 crore.
  • digital: Revenue increased 14% to ₹43,617 crore from ₹38,055 crore.
  • Other Business: Revenue increased by 39% to ₹16,208 crore from ₹11,623 crore.

Reliance Industries shares have risen 16% so far this year

Shares of Reliance Industries closed 1.49% higher at Rs 1,419 ahead of Q1FY26 results on Friday, October 18. The company’s shares have risen Rs 3.37 in the last 5 days. It has increased by 0.3% in one month and by 11.35% in 6 months. This year i.e. from January 1 till now it has increased by 16.20%. There has been a rise of 4.62% in the company’s shares in one year. Market cap of Reliance Rs 19.17 lakh crore.
